Construction of a new packaging material plant begins in November in the Suzhou Industrial Park, Jiangsu Province. |

With a total investment of 90 million USD, the first packaging materials plant of SIG Combibloc in China is in production since July on a 60,000 square meter site. |

SIG Combibloc is undertaking further expansion which includes the installation and commissioning of an in-house coating line to realize the entire state-of-the-art aseptic carton manufacturing in the Suzhou plant. With this additional investment of 70 million USD, SIG Combibloc's cumulative investment in China exceeds 1 billion RMB, achieving annual capacity of 8 billion packages. |
