2008-05 SIG Combibloc donates RMB 800,000 for earthquake relief in China At 14:28 May 12, 2008, an 8-magnitude earthquake ravaged Wenchuan, Sichuan Province of China. In only a few days after the quake, SIG Combibloc China collected donations of more than RMB 50,000 from the employees. Meanwhile, SIG Group allocated donations from headquarter in Switzerland. In less than one week, SIG Combibloc raised a fund of RMB 800,000.
