Hi – I’m Tobias Hammeke. After studying industrial engineering and management, I decided in 2005, to become a direct entrant as Assistant to the Executive Board of the SIG Combibloc Equipment Unit (machine building) in Neuss. In addition to the product and the interesting position, the decisive factor for me was the intended internationalization of the business unit. For this reason I was able to support the development of the machine construction site in Thailand. At first I was significantly involved in working out the concept of the new construction site. At the beginning of 2008 I moved to Thailand in order to build up the logistics department. After a few months I was responsible for the whole production of filling machines in Thailand. Since October 2009 I work in Global Service where I am in charge of strategic projects. Here, my focus is on the marketing of Global Service. What I particularly appreciate in my work are the multifaceted challenges in the different areas of the company. In my function as a generalist, I can keep a lot of things moving through my own initiative and good ideas. |
