Hello, I’m Dennis Schmitz and I work as a shift supervisor in the Linnich location. In 1996, I began my training as package production technician and was subsequently taken on by the company as a production line foreman. During that time my colleagues and I assisted in setting up the new coating line at the Linnich location – a fascinating experience! Parallel to work, I qualified as a master craftsman in the area of paper processing and, in 2007, was promoted to Section Leader. Since midyear 2009 I work as a shift supervisor of plant Linnich. I am convinced that at work, reliability, performance and independence are vital – and of course social competence, because we are always working with other individuals. What I like about SIG Combibloc is that the next generation of managers are encouraged and taken good care of. |
