Cardboard composite with 28 per cent less CO2 combibloc EcoPlus is the name of the latest innovation from SIG Combibloc. EcoPlus is an aseptic carton pack that cuts down CO2 by 28 percent compared to a 1-litre carton pack of the same format from SIG Combibloc, thanks to a special new composite. This reduction in CO2 generation has been confirmed by a lifecycle assessment conducted by the Institut für Energie- und Umweltforschung (IFEU/Institute for Energy and Environ-mental Research). combibloc EcoPlus contains more than 80 per cent wood fibre, a renewable resource.
